The masseter muscle
The masseter is a square-shaped muscle that connects your cheekbone to your lower jaw. When overdeveloped (from chewing habits, teeth grinding, or genetics), it creates a wide, angular jawline.
Botox injection
Dr. Lee injects small doses of botulinum toxin into the masseter muscle at precise anatomical points. Typical dose: 25–50 units per side, depending on muscle size.
Gradual muscle atrophy
The muscle gradually shrinks from reduced use over 2–4 weeks. Your jawline appears narrower and softer, creating the coveted V-line silhouette.
Maintenance

- Full effect visible at 4 weeks — do not assess early
