Lift the face
by restoring
what time removed.
Cheek, forehead, and temple filler restores the youthful volume lost through aging, weight loss, or genetics. By replacing lost fat pads, we create a natural lifting effect — smoother forehead, plumper cheeks, elegant temples.
At a glance.
Restore what time removed — without surgery.
Cheek, forehead, and temple filler addresses the volume loss that occurs with aging (bone remodeling, fat pad atrophy) or genetics. By strategically placing hyaluronic acid on deep bone and superficial fat compartments, we restore smooth contours that natural aging has hollowed out. This creates a subtle lifting effect — the mid-face rises, the jawline appears more defined, and the forehead smooths. Pricing from ₩50,000 (Attierre, 1cc) to ₩240,000 (Juvederm, 1cc).
The science
,
simplified.
Understanding the mechanism helps you set realistic expectations and choose the right brand for your goals.
3D volume assessment
Dr. Lee maps your face's volume loss in 3 dimensions: deep bone (skeletal support), mid fat pads (lifting structure), and superficial contour (smoothing). Different areas need different approaches.
Strategic deep placement
For cheeks: supraperiosteal (on the cheekbone) for lifting effect. For temples: deep placement to fill hollows. For forehead: superficial lines with cannula. Technique varies by area and goal.
Symmetric injection + molding
Treatment is done symmetrically, alternating sides to maintain balance. Each deposit is molded into place for smooth transitions. Typical total dose: 2–6cc depending on areas treated.
Lift effect manifests
Immediately after treatment, you'll notice an upward 'lifting' appearance — the jawline becomes more defined, the tired look softens. Final settling at 2 weeks. Results last 12–18 months.
Where we inject
,
and why.
Each area has its own anatomical target, typical volume, and result timeline. Dr. Lee will recommend a personalized plan during consultation.
| Area | Concern Treated | Typical Volume | Results In |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cheekbones (Zygomatic) | Flat cheeks, tired mid-face | 1.0–2.0cc per side | Immediate |
| Cheek Hollows (Buccal) | Sunken cheeks from weight loss | 0.5–1.0cc per side | Immediate |
| Temples | Sunken temples from aging/weight loss | 0.5–1.0cc per side | Immediate |
| Forehead (Glabella to Crown) | Uneven forehead plane, bumps | 1.0–2.0cc total | Immediate |
| Tear Trough Extension | Lid-cheek junction depression | 0.2–0.4cc per side | Immediate |

Good candidates &
who should wait.
Every treatment has ideal candidates and situations where it's not recommended. Safety first — always.

Not ideal for
- Already volume-rich faces (risk of 'chipmunk' look)
- Severe skin laxity needing face lift (filler alone insufficient)
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Active acne or skin infection
- History of granulomas to HA filler
- Budget for minimum 2cc treatment (smaller amounts won't show)
What happens after.

- Sleep on back, head elevated for 2 nights
- Avoid facial massage for 2 weeks
- Skip makeup for 6 hours

- Minor swelling and bruising 3–5 days
- Final lifting effect at 2 weeks
Possible side effects
- Mild swelling at injection sites (2–4 days)
- Small bruising (4–7 days) — more common in temples due to vascularity
- Temporary firmness when smiling (2 weeks)
- Tiny asymmetry that resolves as filler settles
- Vascular occlusion (rare with cannula technique)
- Visible or palpable lumps (smooth out with massage or hyaluronidase)
- Migration (minimized with deep bone placement)
