A stronger
side profile,
ten minutes.
Chin filler creates the 'nose-lip-chin' alignment that defines an attractive side profile. By projecting a receded chin or elongating a short chin, we balance your entire facial harmony — a subtle treatment with dramatic results.
At a glance.
The simplest, most transformative 10 minutes on your face.
Chin filler uses hyaluronic acid to project a receded chin, elongate a short chin, or create a more defined chin tip — dramatically improving side profile and overall facial balance. The nose-lip-chin alignment(Ricketts' aesthetic line) is a key element of attractive faces across cultures. At JRYN, chin filler starts at just ₩39,000 (Attierre) and goes up to ₩220,000 (Juvederm) — often one of the highest-impact, lowest-cost aesthetic treatments we offer.
The science
,
simplified.
Understanding the mechanism helps you set realistic expectations and choose the right brand for your goals.
Profile analysis
Dr. Lee evaluates your side profile using photography. We check the Ricketts' line (from nose tip to chin tip) — attractive profiles have the upper lip 4mm behind this line and lower lip 2mm behind. A receded chin throws off this balance.
Topical numbing
Numbing cream applied for 10 minutes. Chin skin is less sensitive than other facial areas, so discomfort is minimal. Filler contains lidocaine.
Deep placement injection
Dr. Lee injects filler DEEPLY — on the bone (periosteum) of the chin. This provides strong lifting and prevents migration. Typical placement: 2–3 injection points on the chin tip and lateral chin.
Molding and assessment
Filler is gently molded for smooth, symmetric projection. You'll see results immediately. Full settling at 2 weeks, results last 12–18 months. Chin filler tends to last longer than other areas due to limited muscle movement.
Where we inject
,
and why.
Each area has its own anatomical target, typical volume, and result timeline. Dr. Lee will recommend a personalized plan during consultation.
| Area | Concern Treated | Typical Volume | Results In |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chin Tip (Mentum) | Receded chin, 'weak' profile | 0.5–1.0cc | Immediate |
| Chin Projection | Elongate short chin for balance | 0.5–1.0cc | Immediate |
| Lateral Chin | Narrow, undefined chin shape | 0.2–0.4cc per side | Immediate |
| Pre-Jowl Sulcus | Depression in front of jowls | 0.3–0.5cc per side | Immediate |
